Police arrest three kidnap suspects in Abia

Police in Abia state have arrested three suspected kidnappers in connection to the abduction of a woman and her child.

The three suspects arrested were identified as Uba Nweke, Daniel Chilaka and Peter Jumbo all indigenes of Eberi Omuma.

The woman simply identified as Chinwe and her seven-year-old daughter, Oluebube, were rescued at neighbouring Eberi Omuma in Rivers state.

A locally-made double-barrel gun, five live cartridges, one cutlass and one motorcycle were reportedly recovered from the suspects hideout.
