Osun govt suspends 3 principals for allowing secessionists preach to students
Osun state government has suspended three school principals for allowing a group of secessionists to preach to students in the state.
It was gathered that a pro Odua nation group had Early in the week visited the three schools in Iresi,a town in the Boluwaduro area of the state to address the students.
In a statement made available to newsmen by the state commissioner for education Folorunsho Bamisayemi said, the state government was not aware and never gave consent to the group to speak with any public school students in the state.
The special adviser to the Osun state governor on education Jamiu Olawumi in a telephone interview with Adaba FM frowned at the act of the group saying the state would not be a partaker to any activities that can cause chaos in the country.
Olawumi noted that students in Osun state will continue to be symbols of Nigeria’s unity at all times.
