Construction of rail line would improve nation’s competitiveness, reduce cost of doing business – Rotimi Amaechi

Transport minister, Rotimi Amaechi has said that the construction of a rail line from Kano state to Maradi in Niger Republic, would improve the nation’s competitiveness and reduce the cost of doing business in Nigeria.

Amaechi insisted that Nigeria stands to gain more when the rail line is completed in 36 months.

He made the statement while fielding questions from newsmen in Abuja.

The transport minister also hinted on what is been done to decongest the sea ports and construct more across the country.
