Osinbajo heads FEC meeting as Buhari joins virtually from Daura

Vice president Yemi Osinbajo has presided over the 28th virtual Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting at the council chamber, presidential villa, Abuja.

President Muhammadu Buhari, had on Friday last week travelled to his Daura country home, in Katsina state.

Buhari attended the council meeting virtually.

Also in attendance were the National Security Adviser, NSA, major general Babagana Munguno (retired), the minister of health, Osagie Ehanire, chief of staff to the president, professor Ibrahim Gambari and the permanent secretary, ecological funds office, Mrs. Habiba Lawal, who stood in for the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha.

The SGF is self-isolating with his spouse after some members of his family tested positive for COVID-19.

Others in attendance were information and culture minister, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, minister of works and housing, Babatunde Fashola, among others.
