Ondo Assembly resumes legislative work

Ondo State House of Assembly has resumed its legislative duties .

The house had embarked on a recess in order prepare for the governorship election that was held on October 10th, 2020.

At the plenary, Lawmaker representing Akure South Constituency II, Sunday Olajide moved a motion on passage of a bill for a law to repeal the ondo state electricity law to be passed to second reading.

He noted that bill will further boost the economic prospects of the state and create employment opportunities for the youths if passed into law.

The lawmaker called for possible recommendation from the committee and its accelerated passage into law.

In his ruling, speaker, bamidele oleyeloogun set up ad-hoc committee to over look a bill for a law to repeal the ondo state electricity law.
