US charges Ondo residents to decide their future by voting on Saturday
The United States consular general to Nigeria has challenged the Ondo electorate to sharpen their future with their votes on Saturday.
Ms Clair Pierangelo told Adaba FM in a telephone interview that similar to the expectations of the Ondo state people, the US looks forward to a free, fair and credible election.
She also tasked security agencies on providing a peaceful atmosphere for voters.
Ms Pierangelo added that the US would be paying special attention to critical factors including the objectivity of INEC and its ability to ward off intimidation of any kind.
On the banning of some politicians for interfering in electoral processes, the ambassador said the step was not arbitrary but taken in collaboration with some concerned Nigerians.
