Ogun prosecutes over 50 persons for violating COVID-19 rule

Over 50 people have faced prosecution for violating measures put in place to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Ogun state.

Their fines ranged between 3000 and 5000 naira or a four hour community service.

Ogun state commissioner of police, Kenneth Ebrimson, had led sister security agencies to enforce physical distancing order and the use of face masks when the violators were arrested.

The violators were given instant judgements at the mobile court.
