Ghastly road accident claims 2 lives in Ekiti

A fatal accident has claimed the life of a motorcyclist in Ado Ekiti.

The accident involved a car and a motorcycle around Okesa junction.

Witnesses told Adaba FM that three other people standing by the road side were seriously injured in the accident.

When contacted, FRSC sector commander in the state, Faustina Alegbe said she has not been briefed about the accident.

Meanwhile, police public relations officer in the Ekiti state Abutu Sunday said the driver of the car is in police custody.

The police spokesman said the accident claimed two lives.
