Underlying health condition kills Ondo COVID-19 patient

Ondo state has recorded its first death from coronavirus.

The state commissioner for information, Mr Donald Ojogo confirmed the mortality to Adaba FM

Meanwhile, the commissioner for health, Dr Wahab Adegbenro said the deceased had an underlying health challenge of renal failure which worsened and led to his death.

He said the deceased was one of those that came into the state from Lagos state after testing positive for coronavirus.

Dr Adegbenro said his corpse would be buried in accordance with laid down rules by the NCDC.

The commissioner explained that other COVID-19 patients in the state were in stable condition.
