Coronavirus: UEFA suspends all champions league games as Chelsea’s Hudson-Odoi tests positive
UEFA has announced the suspension of all Champions League and Europa League games due to coronavirus fears.
It made the announcement in a statement on Friday.
The statement says further decisions on when the matches will take place, will be communicated in due course.
Meanwhile, Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has become the first premier league player to test positive for coronavirus.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is self-isolating after also testing positive for the virus.
Arsenal’s game against Brighton on Saturday has been postponed but there has been no decision on Aston Villa’s game against Chelsea on the same day.
The premier league will hold an emergency club meeting to discuss future fixtures on Friday.
