FG to involve youths in climate change programmes

The minister of environment Mohammed Mahmoud says youths will be involved in government climate change programmes to help get information across to the people.

Mahmoud said that federal government decide to involve youths in its climate change programme so that they can help in creating awareness among the people on the effect climate change.

On the Ogoni clean-up in the Niger Delta, the minister of environment disclosed that is consistently carrying out the environment impact assessment of the area.

He was speaking to newsmen in Abuja on the federal government climate change programmes.
