Breaking: FG places travel restrictions on ministers, others
The federal government has placed travel restrictions on ministers and other government officials.
Minister of information, Lai Mohammed said president Muhammadu Buhari has directed that no minister should go on foreign trips more than twice in a quarter.
He said that means that ministers can now only travel out of the country eight times in a year.
The minister explained that the president also directed that no minister on a trip outside the shores of the land should go with more than four aides, who should be relevant to the trip.
He added that estacode for government officials would no longer be calculated on hourly basis.
