CAN commends FG for releasing Dasuki, Sowore
The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has commended the federal government for ordering the release of former national security adviser, colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd) and convener of #revolutionnow protests Omoyele Sowore as mandated by the federal high court, Abuja.
CAN president, Rev Samson Ayokunle, described the gesture as a Christmas gift to the populace and the cleric.
He added that it is a new dawn for the country’s democracy. Reverend Ayokunle maintained that as long as the federal government continues to respect the rule of law and the constitution, can will continue to work with the government to ensure that there is peace and stability in the polity.
