The Federal Capital Territory high court in Maitama, Abuja has granted the request by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to remand former minister of justice and attorney general of the federation (AGF), Mohammed Adoke for 14 days pending investigation.

The court’s sitting vacation judge, justice Othman Musa,   granted an ex-parte motion moved this morning by EFCC’s lawyer, Fatima Mustapha to that effect.

Adoke is being probed alongside others over 1.06 billion dollas Malabu oil block deal.

He was arrested in Abu Dhabi on November the 11th after being on EFCC’s watch-list for a while.
