Arrest election violence perpetrators, senate orders security agencies

The senate has called on security agencies to as a matter of urgency, arrest and prosecute masterminds of electoral violence across the country.

It also advocates collective fight against wanton destruction of property and killing of innocent persons.

The senate advised that the campaign must cut across party divide, to rid Nigeria of violent elements.   

These resolutions were sequel to a point of order raised by senator George Sekibo, PDP, Rivers east.
