8 more workers test positive in Ibadan company

Oyo state governor Seyi Makinde, says eight more workers have tested positive for coronavirus in an Ibadan company recently shut down after 30 of its workers got infected with the virus.

Governor Makinde had revealed that the organisation was based in Ibadan south west local government area of the state and was being decontaminated while the infected staffers had been moved to the state’s isolation centre.

On Monday, Makinde announced that the total number of confirmed cases in the state has hit 118.

He urged residents, who suspect they have come in contact with a COVID-19 case, and who have symptoms of the virus including cough, fever, tiredness, amongst others, to visit the state testing centre.
