War Against Corruption: Trade Union begins nationwide strike against corruption
The Congress of South African Trades Union (COSATU) is staging a nationwide strike against corruption today.
The secretary-general of the trade union federation, Bheki Ntshalintshali disclosed this at a news conference in Johannesburg.
He said the protest will be the mother of all marches. The downing of tools will be supported by another partner of the governing African National Congress, the South African communist party.
A report says there are expected to be thirteen marches in all major cities including the country’s economic hub Johannesburg, Cape Town and the coastal city of Durban.
