VIDEO: Osun civil servants storm governor Adeleke’s office to celebrate victory at Appeal court

Civil servants in Osun state have stormed the governor’s office Abere in Osogbo to celebrate the victory of Governor Ademola Adeleke at the appeal court.

The civil servants who converged on the government secretariat Abere to welcome the Governor were seen singing solidarity songs to eulogise the governor.

It would be recalled that the Appellate Court in Abuja on Friday upheld the victory of Governor Ademola Adeleke of the PDP as against the ruling of the Election Petitions Tribunal which declared former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner.

While speaking the chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress in Osun state Abimbola Arapa said the positive impact of the governor on workers in the state since he came on board informed the decision to celebrate his victory at the appeal court

Arapa promised that workers in the state will continue supporting the state government.

In his response, Governor Adeleke commended the civil servant for deeming it fit to celebrate him, while lauding the judiciary for affirming the will of the people in the state.

Governor Adeleke who charged workers to be more productive in their various ministries so as to move the state to a greater height promised to continue prioritizing their welfare.
