US arrests student over attack on university campus
Police have arrested a student in connection with a shooting that killed two people on a university campus in the United States state of Louisiana.
The attack that occurred at Grambling State University left a student Earl Andrews and his friend Monquiarious Caldwell dead.
The Lincoln parish sheriff’s department said the suspect, Jaylin Wayne, faces first-degree murder charges.
Management of Grambling state university said the security of the campus has increased.
The report says Mr Wayne, who fled the scene surrendered to the police after learning that a warrant had been issued for his arrest.
