UK Based Group Alleges Saudi Arabia Promoter of Islamist Extremism
A United Kingdom-based group has alleged Saudi Arabia of being the chief foreign promoter of Islamist extremism in the UK.
The group, Henry Jackson Society, said there was a clear and growing link between Islamist organizations and Saudi Arabia in receipt of overseas funds, hate preachers and jihadist groups promoting violence.
The group called for a public inquiry into the role of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations.
The Saudi Arabian embassy in the UK described the claims as categorically false.
