Twitter Ban: SERAP wants Buhari to compensate Nigerians Affected

The Socio Economic Rights and Accountability Agenda (SERAP) wants President Muhammadu Buhari to make compensation payment to Nigerians affected by the seven month ban on twitter.

SERAP served a notice of a legal action to the president in a tweet on Wednesday night.

The group says they will seek court orders for adequate compensation and guarantees of non-repetition for the victims of the ban

It noted that the Buhari administration has a legal obligation to effectively redress the consequences of the wrongful act of Twitter suspension.
