Trump engages leaders of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi on Gulf Dispute
US President Donald Trump has spoken separately to leaders of Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi to discuss the ongoing dispute in the Gulf.
Emir Sheikh Tamin Bin Hamad Al-Thani and Donald Trump spoke on a telephone about the latest development and its implication in the region.
The leaders reviewed the position of the US as well as international stances.
Trump also reiterated the importance of stopping terrorist financing and discrediting extremist ideology.
The US had warned china against its aggressive reclamation of islands in disputed waters but Beijing says it has sovereign rights to do so.
