Taraba Assembly Holds Public Hearing on Open Grazing Bill

The Taraba state House of Assembly has concluded the public hearing on the open grazing prohibition bill.

The 7-man committee set up by the house on the public hearing toured all three senatorial district.

Taraba state commissioner for Justice Yusuf Akikwe in his presentation argued that both grazers and farmers need the protection of the government.

However, members of the Miyeti Allah cattle breeders association of Nigeria, Taraba state chapter shunned the sitting which lasted for six days.
