Sunshine Stars: Relegation looms as they lost another match

Sunshine Stars FC’s hope of escaping relegation in the Nigeria professional football league Nigeria Professional Football League suffered another blow as they lost to Nasarawa United 1 – nil in a week 29 encounters.

Elsewhere MFM FC moved closer to league leaders plateau United by defeating Wikki tourist 1 – nil the same margin with which plateau United fell to Niger tornadoes.

In other matches shooting stars beat Katsina United, Elkanemi Warriors beat Abia Warriors and Ifeanyi Ubah beat Eyimba with a lone goal respectively.

Kano pillars secured a 2 – 0 win over Enugu Rangers and the match between ABS and rivers United ended goalless.

The biggest win of the day came from Akwa United who scored 3 goals against Gombe United.
