Students’ Unrest: Federal Poly Ado Reopens, Imposes N20, 000 Reparation Fee On Students
The Management of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti has announced the re-opening of the school which was shut down in October following Students’ unrest.
The Registrar of the polytechnic, Mrs Sade Adediran , in a press statement gave conditions for the reopening of the institution to the students.
She said each resuming student is required to pay a sum of 20,000 naira fee and submit a letter of undertaking to be of good behaviour before being readmitted.
According to her, Failure to present these items by any student, will amount to forfeiting his or her studies with the institution.
Recall, that the federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti was shut down indefinitely last month after students of the institution reportedly set its clinic ablaze during protest.
