Sri Lankan authorities admit thousands of babies were fraudulently sold in 1980’s
Sri Lankan authorities have admitted in a Dutch documentary that thousands of babies born in Sri Lanka were fraudulently sold for adoption abroad in the 1980’s.
Over 11,000 children have been sold to European families, with both parties being given fake documents.
According to Sri Lankan authorities, some children were born into baby farms that sold children to the west.
