SDP Reps candidate pays visit to scene of Ose LG attack
In response to the attack on Arimogija community in Ose Local Government area of Ondo State by bandits, Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare on 3rd Feb, 2023 visited the scene to commiserate with the people of the affected communities.
It would be recalled that the House of Representatives candidate on the platform of the SDP had earlier scheduled a ward tour for 3rd Feb, 2023 in Ifon and it’s environs.
Following the vicious attacks on some commuters on the ijagba/Arimogija road on 2nd Feb, 2023. The candidate cancelled his earlier scheduled tour in honour of the lost souls in the attacks. He was on his way to the Arimogija community to commiserate with the people when another round of attacks happened on 3rd Feb, 2023.
Ogundare after the first-hand site visit, made logistics for security personnel to be moved to the area by volunteering one of his vehicles to be used to move some of the personnel for reinforcement.
The action of the candidate underscores his commitment to the security and safety of the residents in the area.
He has demonstrated an uncanny ability to listen to his people and identify with them in their lowest moments which is expected of a would be representative of the people.
The Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for the Owo/Ose house of representatives seat paid a personal visit to the scene of the attacks on the ijagba/Arimogija road. His visit was abruptly aborted due to the continuous attack which prompted him to seek how to help the security personnel on ground.
The contribution of the candidate to restore normalcy to the area is well noted. He has assured of visiting the Arimogija community on a latter date to properly commiserate with the families that lost their loved ones. Leadership is about responsibility and responsiveness to the yearnings of the people. This is the hallmark of the candidate and he will continue to stand by the people.
Ogundare, therefore calls on the government to find a lasting solution to the incessant attack and insecurity menace rocking the Arimogija axis in Ose Local Government.
