Protesters are demanding a speedy investigation of the murder of a senior official of Kenya’s electoral commission.
The demonstrators besieged the offices of Kenyan election commission amid fears of next week’s national elections.
Authorities in Kenya say the election board’s head of information, communication and technology Chris Msando had been fortified before he was found dead on Monday.
Msando oversaw the live transmission of election results; a contentions area that opposition allege could be used to rig next Tuesday’s presidential and parliamentary polls.
