Police Uncover Ritualists Den, Arrest Suspects in Osun

Tolulope Faleye, Osogbo.

Osun state police command has arrested two suspected ritualists and fraudsters.

The state commissioner of police Fimihan Adeoye said,the suspects are brothers of the same parent and have been in operation for a long time.

Adeoye said,those involved in the illicit businesses were many , but fled when police invaded the shrine, which also serves as den in ilobu.

According to him,the suspects and their gang had duped many under false pretence of being herbalists

One the residents,Nathaniel ekakete denied the existence of the shrine.

The police boss reiterated that,the command will not relent in making Osun a crime free state.

The shrine had been demolished by the police.

Paraded with the suspects were three armed robbery gang who allegedly robbed corp members in Modakeke
