Photos: Oyebanji signs 2023 budget into law

Ekiti state governor, Abiodun Oyebanji has signed 113.6billiion naira 2023 budget into law.

The budget, which was the first to be signed by Oyebanji as governor of the state, was made up 70% capital estimate and #34.1 billion, representing 30% recurrent expenditure.

In his remarks at the ceremony, Oyebanji said that government would strive to implement capital projects embedded in the 2023 budget as well as endeavour to complete all ongoing projects before the end of the administration.

He commended the state House of Assembly for its cooperation adding that their support would help his administration to achieve better in the state.

Earlier while presenting the budget, Speaker of the House, Olubunmi Adelugba, said the budget proposal went through all legislative process before it was passed.

She expressed appreciation to the governor and other lawmakers for their support and cooperation.
