PDP leaders endorse Akoko Reps candidate

Political leaders in Akoko south east/ Akoko north west federal constituency have adopted Kadri Steven Olusegun as preferred candidate for Saturday’s election.

Kadri Steven Olusegun is PDP house of representatives candidate for Akoko north west/ Akoko north east federal constituency.

The leaders under the aegis of coalition of Akoko north federal constituency, were drawn across political divide in the federal constituency.

In a communique at the end of its meeting in Ikare Akoko, the political leaders said the adoption of Kadri Steven Olusegun is in line with the rotational politics of the federal constituency.

The communique which was read by Simisola Ayoade asked the current lawmaker representing the federal constituency, Olubunmi Tunji Ojo to withdraw from the 2023 election in his own interest.

The chairman of the coalition, Alhaji lasisi oluboyo said the move is the wish of the constituency without political bias.

He urged the people of the constituency to massively vote for the adopted candidate in honour of rotational politics.

The adopted candidate, Kadri Steven Olusegun promised to work with other candidates in the race to achieve the ultimate goal.
