Osun First Lady’s convoy attacked by gunmen
Some suspected political thugs have attacked the convoy of the wife of the osun state governor Mrs Kafayat Oyetola at Owode in Ede south local government area of the state
It was gathered that the convoy of the governor’s wife was passing through Owode-Ede market around 8PM on Friday when the incident occurred.
Information has it that a truck suddenly blocked the lane that the convoy was passing, when the suspected thugs who were already around the area started to haul stones at the convoy.
They also attacked the convoy with dangerous weapon and the operatives started shooting to the air to disperse them.
An aide of the First Lady, Oluwatumise Iluyomade who confirmed the incident said although no life was lost but Security operatives attached to the convoy of the wife of Osun State governor, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola sustained various degrees of injuries.
