Osun APC Alleged PDP’s Plot To Disrupt Presidential Rally In Osun

Ahead of the Tinubu Shettima presidential rally slated for Thursday, the All Progressives Congress in Osun state have alleged the People’s Democratic Party of planning to scuttle the rally.

The spokesperson of Osun presidential campaign council Remi Omowaye made the allegations at a press conference held at Tinubu/Shettima campaign office in Osogbo where they said they got wind of the sinister plan through reliable intelligence.

Omowaye said ways planned by the people to carry out their nefarious acts include: use of branded APC uniforms and fake security uniforms and staging of protest with the intent of causing commotion during the presidential campaign.

He also alleged that the PDP members have also planned to station rented urchins and thugs to hurl stones on Tinubu’s convoy just like some group of people did to the president in Kano state

Also speaking the spokesperson of all progressive congress in osun state Kola Olabisi equally lamented on the series of violence unleashed by the PDP on APC members since the tribunal judgement which declared Oyetola winner of last Osun governorship election.

They thereby called on the inspector general of police, Usman Baba Alkali and other sister security agencies to intervene towards foiling the sinister moves and ensuring peaceful atmosphere for the presidential campaign.
