Osun 2022: INEC disqualifies three political parties

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has disqualified three Political Parties from participating in the forthcoming Governorship Election in osun state

This was made known in a statement made available to newsmen by the national commissioner and Chairman of Information and Voters Education committee of the commission Festus Okoye.

The disqualified parties are Action Alliance (AA), Action Democratic Congress (ADC) and All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

According to the statement the three political parties did not meet up with the commission’s guidelines on political party and constitution of the country hence the reason for the disqualification.

The statement notes that the Commission has already communicated this position officially to the affected Political parties.
