Opposition parties protest against last Saturday’s elections in Ondo State

The Peoples Democratic Party, African Democratic Congress and Action Alliance Congress have called for the cancellation of last Saturday’s house of assembly election in Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo state.

While protesting at the INEC headquarters in Akure, the political parties said the election was characterized by irregularities.

The leader of the protesting political parties, chief Segun Adegoke said voters were intimidated and harassed while some were induced.
Adegoke vowed to seek redress in court if the election is not cancelled.
