Ondo Police Assure Residents of Tight Security for Eid-el-Kabir

The Ondo State Police Command has assured people of the state a tight security, during and after the Eid-el-Kabir.

The Command says it has put in place what it describes as robust and water-tight security measures to ensure a peaceful celebration.

Commissioner of Police has directed the deployment of tactical teams, intelligence operatives, and detectives to all Eid prayer grounds, major public places, and key locations.

Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers have also been ordered to intensify patrols and maintain visibility throughout the holiday period.

A statement by the command public relations officer, Olusola Ayanlade, says the Command remains committed to protecting lives and property during and after the festivities.

The Command is also extending warm Eid greetings to the Muslim faithful and encouraging residents to celebrate responsibly, while praying for peace and progress in the state and the country.
