Ondo Open For Investors, Gov Akeredolu Tells Oluwa Glass Builder

The Ondo state Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has received a team of investors who arrived the state for the establishment of a Float Glass and Printing Production Plant worth N162Billion.

The investors were led by the CEO of Horn Class Industries, Mr. Stephan MeindL, who built Oluwa Glass about 35 years ago.

The Float Glass and Printing Production factory which is a Public Private Partnership Agreement between Ondo state government and ZMP Industrial Limited would have 600 tonnes capacity per day.

Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, expressed conference in the Horn Group which built Oluwa Glass about 35 years ago, saying there could not be a better company to start the new state-of-the-art glass factory than Horn Class Industries.

He explained that his administration would continue to cooperate and give necessary support to any investor who is interested in investing in the state economy.

Akeredolu described as unfortunate, the importation of glass into the country, adding that when Oluwa Glass was still functional it was supplying glass to Peugeot Automobile, PAN, for windscreen and other glass works in the country.

The Governor noted that the state is fortunate to have Horn Class Industries back, noting that when completed the huge investment would create jobs for thousands of people and boost the socioeconomic situation of the state and the country.

Earlier, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Ondo state government and ZMP Industrial Limited on the establishment of the factory.
