Ondo Government flags-off student bursary and scholarship award

Ondo state government has flagged bursary and scholarship award to over five hundred students in the riverine area of the state.

The programme is being executed by the Ondo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (OSOPADEC) under the chairmanship of barrister Gbenga Edema.

Barrister Edema said that the gesture was for 2014/2015 academic session which the previous administration refused to implement.

Special guest at the event, Mrs Betty Anyanwu – Akeredolu believed that the gesture would boost moral education among the beneficiaries.

Beneficiaries of the scholarship include PHD, MASTERS, B.SC, HND holders and undergraduates.
