Ondo generates N800m from commercial motorcyclists
Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has revealed the state has generated a total sum of N800 million revenue from ticket sales to motorcycle operators in the state between January 2022 till date.
Akeredolu noted the funds are part of the income generated to construct infrastructural facilities accross the 18 local government areas of Ondo state.
This is just as Akeredolu assured of his administration’s commitment in creating an enabling environment for their operations within the state.
Akeredolu stated these at the occasion of 2022 raffle draw ceremony for commercial motorcycle riders in the state held at the revenue house Alagbaka, Akure.
Akeredolu was represented by his Deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The Chairman of Ondo State Internal Revenue Service, Mr Tolu Adegbie said the state tends to build on what it started last year by organizing the second edition of Commercial Motorcycle (Okada) riders raffle draw.
