Ondo to begin massive destruction of illegal buildings – Permanent Secretary

Ondo state government will soon commence massive destruction of illegal and haphazard buildings in the state.

Permanent secretary, the ministry of physical and urban development, Alaba Adeyemi, said illegal buildings especially petrol stations can induce flood and other ecological disasters.

Adeyemi berates the increased construction of buildings under power lines and roads setbacks in the state.

He asked all intending developers in the state to obtain due approval for their design before construction.

Adeyemi warned that government will not hesitate to prosecute defaulters.
