NZ leader vows to deny mosque gunman a platform

The white supremacist accused of killing 50 people at two mosques in New Zealand has dismissed his lawyer and opted to represent himself at trial.

The move has prompted the prime minister to declare she would do everything in her power to deny him a platform for his racist views.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern agrees that it is absolutely something that needs to be acknowledged and to do what can prevent the notoriety the suspect seeks.
