“NotTooYoungToRun campaigners to engage state legislators for support
Members of the “NotTooYoungToRun campaign, a group demanding reduction of age requirement for elective positions are set to spread their tentacles to state assemblies.
This is coming barely a week after federal lawmakers passed the bill.
Their latest move is to lobby state lawmakers and governors to support the bill.
If eventually signed into law, a thirty-year can run for the presidency, a thirty-year-old for governor, while a 25-year-old will be able to contest as a federal or state lawmaker.
