North Korea missile test violated UN resolution, says Japan

Japanese government has described North Korea’s latest missile launch as violation of United Nations resolutions.

Japan spokesman deputy chief cabinet secretary Kotaro Nogani at a press briefing called for a halt to such ballistic weapons tests.

North Korea fired what appeared to be two short-range missiles yesterday, its second missile test in less than a week.

Japan has been a strong-advocate of tough resolutions to force Pyongyang to abandon its ballistic missiles and nuclear weapons program.
