Nigeria truly needs restructuring says presidential aide, Ismael Ahmed

The senior special assistant to the president on social investment, Ismael Ahmed, says restructuring is the true federalism currently needed in the country.

Ahmed said this while speaking on restructuring in Abuja.

The senior special assistant noted that the federal government is not implementing the recommendations of the national conference organized by the past administration because the current ruling party does not believe in the conference as they were not a part of it.

He hinted that the federal government partners the state government to achieve most of its aims.

He, however, said the federal government will act base on people opinions in its implementations.
