Nigeria moves up to number 42 in latest FIFA Ranking
Belgium remainsĀ number one in FIFA world football ranking released today.
France is in number 2, while Brazil retains the third position.
England moves up to number 4, while world cup finalists Croatia drops to number 5.
Countries like Germany, Argentina, Italy and the Netherlands did not make the Top-10.
In Africa, Senegal is number one on the latest FIFA ranking but 23 in the world.
Tunisia is 28 in the world, but second in Africa, while Nigeria moves up to the 42nd position in the world and third in Africa.
Other African countries which make up the Top-10 list on the continent are Morocco, DR. Congo, Ghana and Cameroon.
Others are Egypt, Burkina Faso, and Cote D’Ivoire.
Meanwhile,USA is number one in FIFA Women Ranking, followed by Germany in the second position and England in number 3.
France and Canada are in number 4 and 5 respectively.
Nigeria remains number 1 in Africa latest women ranking but 38 in the world and South Africa with Cameroon in second and third positions respectively.
Ghana, which is number 51 in the world, is in fourth position in Africa, followed by Cote D’Ivoire in the fifth position.
