NFF: Super Eagles to take on Cameroon in 2018 world cup qualifier in September
The Nigeria Football Federation today announced that the Super Eagles will take on Cameroon in a 2018 world cup qualifier on September 1 this year in Uyo to put to rest confusion over the match day and venue.
World football governing body FIFA schedules the match in up for August 31, but Nigeria Football Federation spokesman Ademola Olajire said the game will be played on September 1.
The return leg is slated for September 5 in Yaounde.
Nigerians lead the qualifying group for Russian 2018 with six points after rounds of matches while Cameroon is second on two points.
