NEMA confirms arrival of over 160 returnees from Libya
The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, has confirmed the arrest of two suspected human traffickers.
The suspects were apprehended after they were identified by their victims during the profiling of 164 Libya returnees.
NEMA spokesperson, South West Zone Mr Ibrahim Farinloye confirmed the development to newsmen in Lagos.
Farinloye noted that the two men were among the new batch of 164 returnees who arrived Lagos in the early hours of today.
He said the suspected traffickers have been handed over to officials of the national agency for the prohibition of trafficking in persons, NAPTIP for further investigation.
