Lassa fever: Achievers University approves Emergency Break for students
The management of Achievers University, Owo, has allayed fears of parents over the rumour of Lassa fever in the institution.
This is why the university approved an emergency three weeks break to afford parents see their children and ascertain their health status.
The vice chancellor of Achievers University, Professor Tunji Ibiyemi at a press briefing in Owo said the institution was very conscious of the health management of both students and staff.
Professor Ibiyemi gives an insight into the rumour of Lassa fever in the institution.
Ibiyemi hinted that the students are expected to report back to the university with a certificate of fitness issued by a reputable government hospital.
