Lagos police nab man after stealing cash for bet
The police in Lagos has arraigned a 20 years old man Proper Okeke, who allegedly stole 80,000 Naira from a bread seller and spent all on betting game and lost.
He is facing a count charge of stealing, but he pleaded not guilty.
Okeke stole the money kept under the bed by Mrs Pricilla Kanu on February 28 at her Ogudu home.
Substantive hearing on the case will start on April 8.
