Japan plans strong counter measures against North Korea
Japan’s Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe has promised strong counter-measures against North Korea, after winning a decisive victory in Sunday’s election.
Mr. Abe said he would discuss these measures with United States President Donald Trump that is visiting Japan next month with other world powers such as Russia and China.
He disclosed that safeguarding his country and the Japanese public is paramount in his agenda as prime minister.
Tokyo has no diplomatic or economic ties with North Korea and has poor relations with Pyongyang’s closest ally China.
